Foundation Chemical Peel Course
If you are a qualified beauty therapist or medical practitioner looking to take your skills to the next level, then our cosmetic chemical peel training course is the one for you!
This safe yet results-driven procedure is perfect for those who are serious about skin!
A cosmetic skin peel treatment is a chemical exfoliant and works by removing the upper layers of skin along with dead keratinised cells to reveal the fresh, new skin underneath.
It is one of the most popular non-invasive skin treatments available. It is a great treatment for all skin types but suitable for acne, pigmentation, photodamage, uneven skin tone and texture and anti-ageing.
A superficial chemical peel uses a solution made up of different types of acids- namely Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) and Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) to rejuvenate and renew the skin through increased cell turnover.
There are many of these acids available, but you have likely heard of Glycolic acid. This is a type of Alpha Hydroxy Acid derived from sugar cane (it can also be made synthetically) and is effective when used as an anti-ageing Peel.
A well known Beta Hydroxy Acid is Salicylic Acid which is derived from the sap of the willow tree. This peel is effective when used on oily and spot prone skin.
During the course we will cover a variety of skin peels available containing different combinations and quantities of acids, all of which are superficial, safe to use and require no down time.
